Social Issue

Vietnamese women tend to avoid talking about concerns related to vaginal health because they are highly conscious of how others may perceive them.

This hesitation stems from anxiety about being judged by their partners, friends, doctors, or even other women.

As a result, several problems arise:

Women have limited opportunities to seek necessary medical support, while misconceptions surrounding intimate care further worsen the problem.

By prioritizing others’ opinions over their own well-being, many women tend to neglect self-care and overlook the importance of their health.

In other words, they are not fully living for themselves.

Step 1: Raise Awareness

VAGINA SERIES POSTERS

Through a series of posters employing visual metaphors representing the vagina, we sought to encourage women to engage more actively with their own bodies and foster greater awareness of vaginal health concerns.

Step 2: Sharing Knowledge

VAGINA ACADEMY BOOK

A guidebook designed to help women better understand intimate health. From proper care practices to recognizing and understanding common symptoms, it provides essential knowledge in a clear and accessible way.

Step 3: Interaction

VAGINA POST

To make it easier for women to speak about intimate health concerns, we developed the “Vagina Post.”

Installed in pharmacies across the city, the mailbox allowed women to anonymously submit their questions, concerns, and anxieties to healthcare professionals and medical experts. Personalized responses were later delivered directly to their homes.

By lowering the psychological barriers associated with seeking help, the initiative aimed to improve access to reliable information, encourage greater awareness of women’s health, and promote early medical consultation when needed.

Step 4: Community

VAGINA TALK

We hosted a talk show featuring the most frequently asked questions submitted through the Vagina Post.

Together with participants, we explored common concerns surrounding women’s intimate health, while experts provided clear and accessible explanations. The event also offered practical advice on intimate care and everyday health management, helping women gain a better understanding of their bodies and well-being.
